We are a DAWN® Partner. The DAWN Method, developed by Judy Cornish, is an approach to dementia care centered on emotional wellbeing. Instead of focusing on what has been lost, it builds on the abilities a person still has, so they can feel safe, capable and connected.
Who We Are
At Papa's Place Colorado, we understand the unique challenges families face when caring for loved ones with dementia. Our warm, homelike environment provides a safe space where adults with cognitive changes can engage in meaningful activities while their caregivers find much-needed respite.
Our DAWN-trained specialists and our wonderful volunteers bring expertise in dementia care and ensure each participant receives personalized attention in a supportive community setting.

Our Approach to Care
Each program is designed with the participant's dignity and wellbeing at the center — and with the caregiver's peace of mind in mind.
Our Progress
We’re redesigning a space to make it easy to access and comfortable to spend time in — including a fully accessible entrance and an outdoor garden with seating for fresh air and sunshine.
